About The Trafalgar Tavern
In Victorian London there was one place that represented the best of Britain's cultural standing. A place where William Gladstone and Charles Dickens could be seen dining side-by-side. An oasis away from the industrial sprawl, but at the centre of an Empire. 
Built in the year of Victoria's ascension, 1837, this stunning late Regency building boasts splendid bay windows with elegant balconies and columns. Stepping inside you step back in time, such is the attention to detail shown in the building's restoration.
Upstairs, the Nelson Banqueting Rooms provide the perfect setting for your wedding. The grand rooms overlook the Thames, offering gorgeous views of London to compliment the plush surroundings. Next door, the Admirals Gallery and Ante Room are an atmospheric addition providing a seafaring air.
The Trafalgar Tavern is quite simply a tribute to Old London, a place were the past can live on in the present. Steeped in unique history, there is no better place to enjoy the luxury of modern events and dining.
What Instinct Events Can Offer
We can organise every aspect of your wedding from flowers, food and the all-important champagne to details you might not have considered like security. Dates can be provisionally held for a maximum of 14 days before confirmation is required – allowing you time to coordinate other arrangements.

Room Hire
The entire first floor of the Trafalgar Tavern is yours for the whole day – for flower deliveries early in the morning through to a late bar & music until midnight. You will have the Nelson Room for the ceremony, the meal & the dancing, the Ante
Room for reception drinks & presents, and the Admiral's gallery bar.
The Ceremony
We have a Civil Wedding License for up to 200. We ask you to make your arrangements direct with the Registrar for Greenwich on 02089215014.
Entertainment
DJ's, and bands can also be arranged. We have a selection who have been to the Nelson Room so we can match your requirements with the best option available
Additional Bits & Pieces
Instinct can arrange flowers and cakes for you – please ask for a quote. Security will be needed for all events – one per event, and additional security for events with over 70 guests. We have round tables which seat eight to ten guests. All table cloths are white to the floor with white napkins. We can arrange for coloured cloths and napkins to match your theme – please ask for a quote. Chair covers can also be hired at an additional cost.We can supply a round or a square cake stand with silver knife for your cake. There is a cloakroom next to the Nelson Room, which can be staffed or not as you wish.
